EVENT: Navigating the Rule of Law Report – A Training Session for Effective Contributions by Civil Society

Carla Camilleri, our assistant director, will be giving training on Navigating the Rule of Law Report – A Training Session for Effective Contributions by Civil Society. The training is part of the Active Citizens Fund Malta programme funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants and Norway Grants. The project is implemented by SOS Malta.

The event is aimed at

  • training VOs on the key components and indicators considered in the EC Rule of Law Report;
  • equiping VOs with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct assessments related to the rule of law in their respective areas of focus;
  • guiding VOs in collecting relevant data and evidence for submission to the EC Rule of Law Report; and
  • facilitiating a collaborative process among VOs for the development of consolidated and impactful submissions. 

The training is free of charge and open to all civil society organisations, professional and student associations or organisations and academia that have an interest in knowing more about contributing to the Malta Chapter of the annual European Commission’s Rule of Law Report.
